After a short introduction of newly associated members, all participants represented their recent activities, as well as their current and future activities and plans for the upcoming period.
The meeting gathered the representatives of relevant institutions, NGOs and IOs that are active in the field of anti-traffcking ( NGO Your rights-Mostar, engaged in the field of legal advice and assistance free of charge, SIPA RO-Mostar, State Border Agency-TO South/Čapljina, MoI-Livno, MoI-Mostar, EUPM-Livno, EUPM-Mostar, OSCE-Sarajevo, OSCE-Mostar, NGO Žena BiH-Mostar, Center for social welfare-Mostar).
An utmost importance of close cooperation between NGOs and ministries of interior in regard to exchange of data/information concerning potential victims of trafficking in human beings, which would result in check-up of the data/information and indications in the field, as well as in pressing charges against traffikers. The aim of such cooperation is as successful combat against trafficking as possible.
The meeting ended with a short evaluation by each participant, including their own suggestions for next meetings. One of the suggestions agreed upon by most of the participants, was to leave enough time for preparation of specific subjects to be discussed at the meetings; therefore, the invitations should be sent at least two weeks prior to meetings, in order to enable the participants to prepare for it.
