La Strada Foundation signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation with the Ministry of Interior of Western Herzegovina Canton.
The goal of the cooperation is coordination of activities aimed at combating of trafficking in human beings and providing assistance to victims of trafficking, gaining of public trust as well complete implementation of principles concerning respect of rights of trafficking victims in accordance with international standards on protection of human rights.
The cooperation will include the following goals:
-MoI WHC will cooperate in exchange of information regarding victims of trafficking;
-La Strada Foundation will provide accommodation for victims of trafficking
-La Strada will provide trainings for police officers of MoI WHC on rights of victims of THB and tools for rights protection.
