Training for Sarajevo Airport Border Police Members

Foundation La Strada BiH held training for Sarajevo Airport Border Police members, which was also attended by Federal and Cantonal Prosecutors and representatives of EUPM. The training took place at the premises of the Sarajevo Airport Border Police with the topic of „ Strengthening of the State Security Forces in the Area of Combating Trafficking in Persons (Hidden Indicators) “. Participants were introduced to the BiH Criminal Code, in more details, in terms of trafficking in persons in practice, referral system in place and to the work of BiH Anti-trafficking Task Force, by the Federal Prosecutor Hajrija Muftić-Hadžiomerović. La Strada representatives presented the work and achievements of their organisation, specialised in combating trafficking, then psychological profile of the trafficking victim and the Protocol for Identification of the Trafficking Victims. The participants took an active role in the training through their work in groups, thus exchanging experiences and knowledge on this growing problem.
