Training for BiH Border Police member

Foundation La Strada BiH held training for BiH Border Police members, which was also attended by representatives of SIPA, Prosecution of FBiH and HNK and Director of Los Rosales Centre. The training took place in hotel „Ada“ Blagaj on 20-21st of March 2008 with the topic „ Multidisciplinary Approach to the Trafficking in Persons Issue Resolution from the Aspects of Illegal Migration and Identification of the Trafficking Victims“. Participants were introduced to the BiH Criminal Code, in more details, in terms of trafficking in persons in practice, referral system in place and to the work of BiH Anti-trafficking Task Force, by the Federal Prosecutor Hajrija Muftić-Hadžiomerović. La Strada representatives presented the work and achievements of their organisation, specialised in combating trafficking, then psychological profile of the trafficking victim and the Protocol for Identification of the Trafficking Victims. The participants took an active role in the training through their work in groups, thus exchanging experiences and knowledge on this growing problem. Mr. Senad Lizde, Deputy Head of BP BiH FO South – Čapljina, handed their official Letter of Thanks to Mrs. Fadila Hadžić, National Coordinator of La Strade BiH, for contribution of this organisation to education of BP BiH members regarding trafficking in persons.
