La Strada BiH continued with prevention and education activities in the period of April-December 2007. Lectures and workshops were organised in a way to enable participants to consider and work on the topic „Prevention of Trafficking in Human Beings“, and to give some of their ideas related to this issue. Education and prevention activities targeted different groups: Parent-Teacher Councils and elementary school pupils.
Workshops for the Parent-Teacher Councils were held in the following cities:
Mostar, Sarajevo, Bugojno, Tuzla, Livno, Tomislavgrad, Mostar, Stolac, Trebinje, Čapljina, Goražde and Banja Luka. The total number of participants at the workshops was 169 teachers/parents.
Workshops for elementary school pupils were carried out in the following cities: Stolac, Sarajevo, Hrasnica, Zenica, Gornji Vakuf, Bugojno, Goražde and Banja Luka. The total number of participants at the workshops was 558 pupils.
