From January to July 2007, La Strada BiH held 22 lectures and 10 workshops on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina on topic: »Trafficking in Human Beings-Women». Participants at lectures were pupils of primary and high schools, while Council of Parents and Teachers participated at workshops. There were totally 687 participants; 507 pupils and 180 parents and teachers.
Lectures and workshops were held in following cities: Trebinje, Stolac, Tomislavgrad, Livno, Tuzla, Bugojno, Sarajevo, Mostar, Višegrad, Konjic i Ljubuški.
General impression of preventional and educational activities was extremely positive. Each lecture resulted in high level of interest from pupils as well as parents and teachers. The concept of trafficking became clearer to participants and they realized importance of this issue in our society, and the importance of their engagement in improving of the information level of pupils as well as older population.
