La Strada BiH closely cooperated with the organizers. It was actively involved in the process of advertising the event, as well as in distribution of tickets and other necessary preparations prior to the concert. During the concert the numerous volunteers of La Strada BiH and peer-group members distributed prevention material of LS BiH and of MTV.

The headliners of the concert were the cult Brits Asian Dub Foundation, in their abbreviated Soundsystem DJ set. Together with Soundsystem, two most popular bands in B&H at this moment, Dubioza Kolektiv and Sikter performed.

The concert marked the start of the second phase of the MTV Foundation Europe’s campaign against trafficking in human beings, and the tour will pass through seven countries of Southeast Europe, including Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Moldova, Belarus, Ukraine and Russia. The Tour will conclude on September 22 in Kiev, with a huge concert for 60,000 people in the city central square.

Asian Dub Foundation Soundsystem
Asian Dub Foundation are 21st century MIDI warriors. Their distinctive sound is a combination of hard ragga-jungle rhythms, indo-dub basslines, searing sitar- inspired guitars and 'traditional' sounds gleaned from their parents' record collections, shot through with fast-chat conscious lyrics.


Dubioza Kolektiv
Dubioza kolektiv is a band founded in 2003 out of members of bands Gluho doba Against Def Age from Zenica and Ornamenti from Sarajevo.

The band played a number of concerts since 2004. They toured Bosnia, Slovenia, Croatia, Poland, Holland, Czech Republic, Serbia & Montenegro, France... Also played concerts at Cultural Olympics in Athens 2004 and at Eurosonic Festival 2005, Groningen, Netherlands.


Sikter

Sikter is a band from Sarajevo existing for 15 years by now and undergoing various music styles. The music Sikter plays is a combination of soul, funk, and rock’n’roll. Their concerts are multimedia performances accompanied by video projections of the artists from Sarajevo.
